| No Spam Policy "Spam" is when an Internet user sends unsolicited bulk and/or commercial email messages over the Internet. The practice of "spamming" is prohibited by Escape.com, and is enforced by our 0% tolerance policy. Once we receive complaints of a subscriber practicing spamming, Escape.com has the discretion to determine from all of the evidence gathered whether the spammed email recipients were from an "opt-in" email list. If found guilty, the subscriber will no longer be entitled to receive service from our company and will have to forfeit any paid balances of their account. Spamming is not only harmful because of its negative impact on consumer attitudes toward Escape.com (Kazan Corp.), but also because it can overload Escape.com's network and disrupt service to Escape.com subscribers. When this occurs, it is known as a "denial of service" attack. In addition, maintaining an open SMTP relay is prohibited. Bandwidth Policy Escape.com offers unlimited bandwidth transfers to most sites, however this offer does exclude adult content oriented web sites. We limit such users' bandwidth transfers to 5 gigabytes per month. We monitor all activity on our servers. If such a user's site (or sites) exceeds the monthly bandwidth limitation, the user will receive one email notification warning of their activity. Escape.com charges a fee of $3 U.S.D. per each gigabyte of transfer extra. If such activity persists, and no payment arrangements have been made, Escape.com (Kazan Corporation) reserves the right to discontinue the user's service without any further notice at any given time. Any credit towards the user's balance will be forfeited. |
